I've been testing out the new econobum from bumgenius and provide some feedback on our experience so far. We've used the econobum for a few days only but so far have noted that the prefold is high quality, soft and absorbent and sits neatly within the cover, without the need for a Snappi.
The cover itself feels flimsier than the bumgenius nappy that we have been using to date, and has snap fastening where we are used to (and prefer) velcro fastening. It feels like we need to be more careful with the cover (not to rip it off).
We'll be sticking with bumgenius for our DD but if you like the simplicity of a cover and prefold nappy system, though, you can't go wrong with the economy of the one size cover and the absorbent, quality prefolds.
