I tried out the bumgenius one size 3.0 as my first reusable nappy. At first I was sceptical that the stains would come out of the nappy without soaking in stain remover, but lo and behold, they did! The fit was good even from newborn. They are a bit bulkier than disposables, but I was still impressed with the absorbency. Because the inserts are removable, they dry quickly on the line. Whilst they seem to be expensive, I'm assured by my cousin (who is a bumgenius user), that they are durable and have lasted for more than one child. A worthwhile investment!

I was particularly sceptical about using a cloth style nappy as I imagined the hours of soaking, washing and drying I would have to commit to. I originally bought 6 bumgumenius and used those for around one month, and quickly realised how efficient and easy the 'system' really was. I really just popped them in the machine and press start! I was thrilled with the results and have sinced purchase more!

I have been using the BumGenius nappies for about 6 months. I bought four different brands of resizable, all-in-one nappies and found these to be the best. The inserts are extremely absorbent, are easy to fit and dry quickly. Having two different sized inserts included with each nappy gives the flexibility to tailor the absorbency to fit. Our daughter sleeps through from 8pm to 7am and, using the standard and newborn inserts together, gets through the night without leakages. The fit of the nappy is excellent and very easy to use, which makes it easier for friends or relatives only familiar with disposables to change a nappy. Dry-pailing, hot wash and quick drying time make them easy care; they can even go into the dryer if need be. The colours are gorgeous and look so cute without covers on them. All in all, a great nappy!

Great idea, great range of colours, quick drying, having tried them and now that we have got the washing thing sorted, would be more confident in trying other types.
